Make sure you check the size. I didn't and was very disappointed in how small it is. This little one (30×30) definitely will not work as a litter mat but i'm sure i'll find some use for it.

Very effective, I have the sandbox just before the stairs that go down to the basement and with this mat, sand no longer falls onto those stairs.
